Functional requirements

Android & iOS

App which designed and developed to run on smart phones, tablet computers and other mobile devices.
When user is on the homepage of the app, they can scrolls right or left to their desired movie.
The user will be able to see the key art for the available movies they can view the trailer for or purchase.
On clicking on the artwork for the selected movie, the user will see two buttons, and these will be superimposed on the key art. The buttons will respectively say ‘View Trailer’ and ‘Buy Now’.
The app will then trigger Vimeo video of the trailer to be played within the user’s device; the video trailer will remain landscape and fixed.
If user wants to see the next movie then he has to purchase the movie from in App; user is then prompted to enter their password that gives authority to iTunes or Google Play to authorize payment to be made to purchase the video.
The app remembers where the user was last and shows movie as first movie in the MovieMaze library.
No login and registration required for the app usage.

Technical architecture

We developed this app with Android and iOS native development.
The app will use Vimeo video to be played within the user’s device.
API has been developed with PHP and MySQL technologies. We also used SQLite to store the URLs of Movie clips.
App has been designed and developed to run on smart phones, tablet computers and other mobile devices.

Project Delivery

MovieMaze™ App, we developed for MovieMaze Ltd Company which is new kind of interactive app.
MovieMaze™ App will allow you to select what direction the story will take, just by touching the screen.
User does not require any login and registration. User can install the app and view one free movie. They can simply make maze of movie and get entertainment.
Movie has been played in Vimeo with high definition quality.
User will have option to make purchase through in app and itunes.

QA testing and UAT (User acceptance testing)

October 2015

Both Android and iOS App went through rigorous testing from our QA team. Our QA team did several unit testing like integration testing, load testing and performance testing.

Post-launch support and maintenance:

JPC Technologies team has provided complete support till all the QA tests and UAT were successfully passed. We provided all the manuals and instructions to push the web code, database to production.
